Supporting Art in the Community

Twenty-one local artists showcased their original art work during the Sammamish Valley Arts Center’s 2nd Annual Artists Studio Tour on April 18th and 19, 2009.  This tour was free and self guided, and coincided with the Woodinville Wine Passport Weekend.  The public had the opportunity to visit with and observe our member artists in action either at their home studios, or within a cooperative. 

 

The artists exhibiting in a variety of styles and media, ranging from modern abstract to realistic with painters working in oils, watercolor, acrylic, egg tempera, pastels and, three dimensional artists working in turned wood, ceramic, metal and mosaic.

 

Each artists was juried to maintain a professional level of fine art and craft.  The brochure can be seen by clicking on the picture below.
