Earth Day Art Show

The SVAC Earth Day Art Show is held every year around the time of the globally celebrated Earth Day. The next Earth Day falls on Friday April 22, 2011. The purpose of Earth Day is to recognize the power of millions of individual actions to better the environment, reducing carbon emissions and to act and live more sustainably.

The Art Show includes both adult artists and artists under 18 years of age. The Adult Artworks are juried for entry into the show. The artworks are judged and Certificates of Award are issued to the top artists in all categories. The top winning artwork in the contest in the under 18 category is placed on a poster to publicize the Earth Day Art Show, and the winning artwork in the adult category is used on a poster to publicize a separate SVAC exhibits or events as determined to be appropriate for the art.

To receive an Earth Day Art Show Entry Form, send an email to: t@sammamishvalleyartscenter.org and we will return the form shortly.

This year the annual SVAC Earth Day Art Show will be exhibited from April 9 through April 30, 2011 at Gallery 113 located in the Woodinville Hollywood District, at 14545 148th Ave NE.
